Augurium, Inc. ("Augurium," "we," "us," or "our") operates a property management platform for residential buildings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information of building residents, staff, and visitors who use our services.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Contact information: Name, email address, phone number, and unit number, provided when you register through the resident portal or are added by building management.
Building activity data: Package delivery records, maintenance requests, amenity reservations, and visitor logs associated with your unit.
Communication preferences: Your choices regarding email and SMS notification delivery, including opt-in consent for text messages.
Device information: When you access our web portal, we may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).

How We Use Your Information

To deliver building notifications (package arrivals, maintenance updates, amenity confirmations, building announcements) via your preferred channel (email and/or SMS).
To authenticate your identity when accessing building services.
To operate and improve building management services.
To communicate with you about your building account.

SMS/Text Messaging

If you opt in to SMS notifications:

We will send text messages to the phone number you provide regarding package deliveries, maintenance updates, amenity reservations, and building announcements.
Message frequency varies based on building activity. Typically 1–5 messages per week.
Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by updating your preferences in the resident portal.
Reply HELP for assistance.
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Your phone number is used solely for building-related notifications from Augurium on behalf of your building management.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

Building management: Your building's management company and staff have access to information necessary to provide building services (e.g., package records, maintenance requests).
Service providers: We use third-party services to deliver notifications (Postmark for email, Telnyx for SMS). These providers process data solely on our behalf under contractual obligations.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls limited to authorized building staff.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as you are a resident of a building served by Augurium, or as needed to provide services. Package and visitor records are retained according to building management policies. You may request deletion of your data by contacting your building management or us directly.

Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Augurium Resident account and associated personal data at any time, in either of these ways:

In the resident portal / app: open your account settings (Profile) and choose Delete Account, then confirm.
By email: send a deletion request from your account's email address to support@auguriumusa.com. We will delete your account within 30 days.

Data that is deleted: your resident-portal account and login, your contact information (name, email address, phone number), emergency contact, pets, delivery and notification preferences, and any registered devices used for push notifications.

Data that may be retained: building operational records that are not part of your personal profile — such as package, visitor, and maintenance logs — may be kept by your building's management for a limited period where required for building operations, safety, or legal and recordkeeping obligations, after which they are deleted in the ordinary course of records rotation.

Your Rights

You may:

Access and update your contact information and notification preferences through the resident portal.
Opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP or updating your preferences.
Opt out of email notifications through the resident portal.
Request a copy of your personal data or request deletion by contacting us.
